Spring Has Sprung in Coonawarra
Seasonal updates from the vineyard and cellar
As the days grow longer and the air turns warmer, spring has officially arrived in Coonawarra and with it, a fresh burst of energy across the vineyard and winery.
At Jack Estate, this time of year marks the start of something special. The landscape is waking up, the vines are budding, and our team is hard at work preparing for the next vintage.
Budburst and New Beginnings 🌱
One of the most exciting signs of spring in the vineyard is budburst, that magical moment when dormant vines come back to life. Tender green shoots are now pushing through, marking the beginning of the growing season.
Life Inside the Cellar 🍷
While the vines outside are just getting started, our cellar hands are still deep in work from the previous vintage. Barrels are being topped, wines are racked, and blending trials are underway as we prepare for upcoming bottlings.
Our dedicated cellar team is the engine room of the winery, quietly but diligently tending to each wine as it evolves. Spring is also a time when we start getting excited about new releases on the horizon, as wines from the previous harvest begin to show their character and potential.
What’s Coming Up 🌼
As we look ahead, there’s plenty to be excited about:
- New vintages rolling out soon (watch this space!)
-
Special Offers and Museum Releases available online soon (watch this space!)
-
Vineyard updates as the growing season progresses

And of course, plenty of behind-the-scenes action as we gear up for another harvest
Spring is a season of renewal and anticipation, and here at Jack Estate, we're feeling both. We can’t wait to see how this vintage takes shape, and to share it with you in the glass.
Cheers to spring, bright days, and beautiful wine.
