Vintage 2025 Report
Coonawarra has delivered again in 2025, building on the exceptional quality seen in 2024. Following a dry winter and spring that required early irrigation, stable warm conditions encouraged healthy growth. Early flowering and a dry summer quickened development, while cooler night temperatures from a mild Bonny Upwelling in February helped maintain fruit balance.
A welcomed rain on the 11th of March refreshed the vines before harvest Veraison tracked with long-term averages, and dry conditions kept disease pressure low. Shiraz picked in late March, shows vibrant fruit and fine tannins. Cabernet Sauvignon harvested in April, benefited from a long ripening window, offering purity and structure. White wines display bright acidity and strong flavour. 2025 stands out as a stellar red wine vintage, delivering depth, balance, and elegance.
End of Vintage 2025 Celebration
Beach, Bowls and Beer! The Jack Estate team headed down to sunny Robe to celebrate the end of a great vintage. We caught up with our friend Maris at Robe Town Brewery and enjoyed some of their delicious beers. After that, we had lunch and played a few rounds of bowls at the local club. A great way to wrap up a busy and smooth vintage — bring on the rest of the year!
